Evolving Technology Required

MWS legacy solutions for managing clients and integrity data were developed on older technology.  We needed a new solution to enable growth, increase value to our clients and advance efficiencies. We explored multiple options for a potential replacement of our legacy system. Market available solutions were designed for owners of equipment. With our unique service-based company we could not find a feasible solution in terms of potential timelines, capital investment required, or the right “fit” in what we needed a system to be able to do. ​

Marsworx was the first “pre-built” system with potential to meet the majority of our requirements. It has the ability to configure the system for our unique structure and workflow requirements.

CONFIGURABILITY is a Big Deal‍

With this software, we can configure the system to match our operations workflow. The ability to ensure each client could be accessed from the hierarchy was important for our Chief Inspectors. Also, ensuring security and read only access to client’s own data was paramount. 

Mobility Access

Everyone can access current data and manage work orders from the field in connected or disconnected mode. This is a capability we never had before. We are able to enter new equipment, validate existing equipment and complete work orders in remote field locations. Work orders can also be viewed from a map and assigned to Groups of field staff to ensure maximum efficiency of our field staff while on the road.

Migration and Transition

The transition to marsworx has been a major shift in technology for our company. We see the capabilities and efficiencies within reach now.  We will migrate our clients to marsworx at a manageable pace to ensure success for MWS, our valuable clients and the marsworx team.

Biggest learning with the move to marsworx?‍

The move from decades old technology to the cutting-edge functionality of marsworx is a large leap and needs to be fully understood before jumping in too quickly. Once the planning and configuration was completed, we could move ahead with a very methodical approach and introduce the changes at our pace.
